    Really enjoyed building the Piranha Plant. Challenging and fun, very well-designed. Finding out the function of the trap door at the end was great. A small set so it went quickly.

    I have to say when I saw the piece size for this set I was discouraged. Building the NES, Question Mark Block and The Mighty Bowser, I was ready for a 2,000 + piece set.     A great little build so far. Some nice build techniques and some nostalgia. 2 pieces missing and 1 extra piece in the first 2 bags alone does not instill confidence in the QC process though. I am still waiting for my missing parts to arrive.

    Be warned, the head is so top heavy, it can’t be positioned in multiple ways. Also, it is super fragile. The head fell apart several times while trying to put it together. I’m afraid to even move it.

    My daughter couldn’t be happier with this Lego set. She understood it was difficult for her age and we built it together. This piranha plant is on her nightstand now for the foreseeable future.

    Great and fun build, being able to build small mechanism for the plant was really interesting. My nephew was super excited to see how the button worked to release the bottom panel.     Pros: its a beautiful display item, easy to build, nice base tube structure Cons: not many option to pose, head part is so heavy, head connection point weak Could have been better! Definitely it has potential.. but not like cube or bowser! D
