A perfect display of the Shire I’ll be honest, I’ve only seen the movies once. But my partner is obsessed, and I thought the movies were all good, so I splurged when we usually stick to smaller sets. So worth it. The attention to detail really made me smile. It’s a good looking set with plenty of ...

Overpriced Really disappointing compared to Rivendell and Barad-dur. Overpriced for the build experience and doesn’t compare to the one that came out over a decade ago. Only reason I bought it is because I love LOTR and want to support this theme. The side builds felt like an afterthought that ...

Another great set Looks great in my opinion. Enjoyed building this and im glad to get a bigger version of bag end in there. Calling it the shire is a bad decision. The firework dragon and party scene is nice but arguably added extra value when not needed. This could have just been bag end and shav...

Good Set, Terrible Price As someone who already purchased Rivendell and Barad-dur previously, I wanted to keep my collection of these sets complete. One of the biggest negatives of this set is the price point, especially if you weren't able to get the gift with purchase at release (I was). Compa...

Fabulous I loved every minute of building The Shire. It took about a week to complete and I’m thrilled with the finished product. All fits perfectly next to The Pyramid of Giza and The Japanese picture and a few other little builds. Excited to see what my next build might be.

Excellent build but to much money This was definitely a great build. But the price could have been better. The price definitely would have been better with the dwarves from the hobbit. Or a more fleshed out main build. Anyway I have complaints but overall LOVE and would recommend to any lotr fan!!

They could have done better [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel like in some areas the set lacks detail: for example the tree. But in other places like the inside it has a wonderful amount of detail in a small space.
