Wonderful Tripod Upgrade! I have been using the Peak Design Travel Tripod (carbon fiber) for several years and appreciate its low weight, compact size, and overall portability. What frequently bothered me was the ball head requiring the use of a separate panning base for landscape shots. Pro Lite...

Excellent piece of gear for most situations. Very compact and still sufficiently tall. I got the pro tall - I would recommend using the centre column only when absolutely necessary, as there is still a bit of flex when fully extended. It will replace my larger RRS tripod for 90% of my work. Very n...

Light and built like a tank This tripod combines the best of both worlds with the lightness of a travel tripod and the versatility of a pro one. The best feature by far is the quick-release plate on the tripod head (which is a lifesaver coming from another tripod where I had to manually tighten it...

SOLID & LIGHT SOLID and LIGHT. Bought a couple of the Pro Tripods for my Leica SL and spotting scopes - have also the Travel Tripod and used it extensivly. The mobile phone holders are fantastic as well. On the downside a multitude of allen wrenches might be neccesary to fine adjust or fix som...

Lite and Steady Haven’t used since I’ve been out on disability, but I love it and much lighter than the Manfrotto I’ve used for years and it deploys very easily

Not very pro… While this is a nice tripod, it is not competitive with pro tripod and ballhead combo (we all know who they are, and have been for 30 years). Where it wins is compactness, and a bit of weight savings since ballhead is integrated. Nice to have as a portable option, but travel tripod m...

Best solution for travel with MF gear? I bought the Pro Light model looking to overcome the original travel tripod's major faults (in my view), including short maximum height, the lack of panning on the original ball head and the need to raise the center column up (and thereby compromise stability...

ball-head fare to unstable I am disappointed from the tripod because of the inbuilt ball-head, otherwise I love the tripod but for video I need it. The ball-head is very unstable because of the thin bar is siting on and unfortunately you can't fix the base of the ball-head if it is all the way dow...

Game Changer First pro level tripod as I am upgrading from a Manfrotto set up. I have had it a few weeks now and it goes on every outing. I shoot outdoors and in various conditions and this tripod suits them all well. It’s incredibly easy to deploy and very lightweight. I just received the rest of...

Great outdoor choice Light and portable, this tripod works perfectly in wild environments where the filmmakers needs to feel comfortable. After 4 weeks in the rainforest I can affirm that has been a great choice.

Holds the Canon 600mm F/4 with ease! My first pro tripod and an upgrade from a Manfrotto setup. I love how easy it is to setup/take down, how light and compact it is, and how modular it is with additional accessories. I have been using this for a few months now from a kayak to standing still on dr...
