I am very impressed with this lens. I have previously owned the Canon 100-400 f5.6 version 1 (nice but average) and the heavier Canon 200-400 f4 (excellent but hard on the shoulder) this Sony 100-400 is beautifully sharp and responsive. I already have the 200-600 G but that’s pretty hefty and not easy to have when travelling. The 100-400 GM makes a lot of sense and with the 2x converter in my bag gives me the extra reach if needed on the shoot. Good companion to my other Sony gear. Originalmente publicado em Sonyap-auB

I bought this lens as I was tired of seeing my husband's tack-sharp images and mine were too soft. Very Versatile
It has replaced the 70-200 as my favourite lens. Not too heavy, plenty of reach, lovely bokeh. I bought it for travelling, wildlife and sports. I had been keeping an eye on the price and when I saw it was on special I grabbed one. I am really enjoying learning to use it.
