My son is really enjoying the new Spike Prime. He's happy with the sleeker builds, nicer wheels and overall compactness of the motors and brick. The brick is also so much faster than his EV3 was, and connection to the Spike app to code projects has been super easy compared to the EV3.

First it did not come with all the pieces. Second it did not have a very good people to have them replace the pieces so we had to buy expansion set.

My son received this for his 12th birthday, and says that it is really good, but some of the coding/code is not intuitive. He loves to create his own robots and use the pieces in creative ways that they are maybe not intended to be used. Overall - he loves the set!
