I had this lens for almost a year and I noticed a problem. After consulting Sony I was provided with a replacement lens. Best service ever. The lens is great for macro's and close ups

So what's with Sony putting a G on G Master for .... possibly the sharpest lens in the world with great Bokeh for portrait work and macro to die for .... this is a dual purpose "must have" no arguments end of story. Thanks Sony for the best glass possible !

Only had it a few days but enjoy using it the results are good the only thing I did not like was the cheap plastic pouch it comes with it just makes a good lens look cheap

I love doing macro shots but always struggling with manual lens and insects on the move since buying this 90mm 2.8 macro for my Sony a6000 problem solved, auto focus is smooth and easy, even on my apsc sensor it works great
