I’ve had this lens for years and it’s always been a pleasure to use. The lens is very sharp and the zoom range makes it great for portrait photography and many other subjects. I’ve even used it for landscape and architecture. I thought it was expensive but it really helped complete my canon outfit.

I purchased this lens with my canon r7 almost a year ago now and am in love with it. I only really shoot sport so the f4 is perfect. Images are so crisp and I love the other features in the lens.

I have owned the EF100-400mmLIS version2 since it's release. Over the years my love for this lens keeps growing; from landscapes, macro, birding and anything else I put in front of this lens, it handles all and any genre of photography. As an all purpose lens this EF100-400 excells.
